Night Format stands as a label dedicated to raw, uncompromising techno — forward‑leaning, and rooted in the rough edges of classic hardware while pushing confidently into modern territory. Curated by BRNT and Five Alive, the imprint continues its mission with NFV002, a fierce collaboration between BRNT & Night Format.
This 4‑track vinyl release features two heavyweight remixers: MarAxe of Techno Core Agency delivering a sharpened, industrial‑leaning rework, and underground legend D.A.V.E. The Drummer injecting his signature pounding energy.
Pressed as a 200‑copy black vinyl edition housed in a designed sleeve, NFV002 will be exclusively available all summer via the Flatlife Bandcamp Store and the Night Format Store, ahead of its worldwide release on 18 September 2026.

Artist in the spotlight
Coutts / Gordon Coutts is a DJ / Producer from Northern Ireland, who has been DJing for over 25 years, playing at events all across the UK and Ireland and beyond, including Godskitchen, Planet Love and Ibiza and headline sets at many events.
He made his name on the production front in the mid 2000's onwards with his distinctive brand of Tech-Trance, with a string of successful releases on labels such as Vandit, Spinnin, Fraction, Aria, Tangled Audio and many more.
In recent years he has embraced his Techno oriented side and has been releasing and playing as 'Coutts', with releases on Hydraulix, Apex, Refined Format, Physical Techno Recordings, Mechanikal, Pure Dope Digital and White Line Music amongst many more.
Gordon is A&R for Keep On Techno Records, taking on the role in 2022 after being a core artist on the label.
On top of this he is currently a resident DJ and weekly presenter for NI based radio station Energy 106.

We launch the first episode of Techno Core Radio with a heavyweight from Northern Ireland’s underground scene — Bangor-based DJ, producer and A&R for Keep On Techno Records, Gordon Coutts.
Known for his high-pressure sets blending techno, oldskool energy and flashes of trance influence, Gordon has become a respected force in the Belfast scene, playing venues such as Thompsons Garage and Ulster Sports Club while consistently pushing quality underground sound through his productions and label work.

energy. Active since 2009, he has made
waves in the global scene, climbing the

@charlottedewittemusic , @djrebekah ,
@ihatemodels1 , and many more — all of whom
have featured his tracks at festivals
such as Awakenings, Tomorrowland,
and Ultra Music Festival. In 2021,
Cristian was awarded Best Techno
DJ/Producer in Colombia at the CDA
Awards,
a national recognition that highlights
his influence and consistency within
the Latin American techno scene.
Since 2015, he has run his own label,
Parallel Thoughts Records — a
platform that has released music
from legends like @majorrush and
@a.paul_techno , as well as rising Colombian
talents shaping the future of techno.
